The agitated protesters torched the effigy of BJP for posing a serious threat to the Dogra identity under the influence of Kashmir centric forces.

While addressing the media on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh came down ferociously on the State Government and BJP in particular for obnoxiously subjugating Dogri vernacular in Jammu province. He regretted that while the Dogri language had been ignored once again recently, the Kashmiri language was clandestinely introduced as a subject in Jammu region by the Valley centric Government.
He said it was reported that 49 vacant posts out of 492 existing vacancies of Assistant Professors in Higher Education Department had been converted for Kashmiri language planned to be taught in all 46 Government run Degree Colleges of Jammu division.
Sensing a deep rooted conspiracy to marginalize Dogri language in Jammu region by forcing the students and youth to learn Kashmiri, he lambasted the BJP for once again turning Nelson’s eye over the issue which had hurt the conscience of the entire Dogra fraternity.
He said that refusal to grant Dogra certificate to Jammu Dogra youth, imposition of services taxes on Hindu pilgrimage, selection of Kashmir youth against vacancies of Jammu region by PSC, fresh registrations of migrants from Kashmir for settlement in Jammu, illegal settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in Jammu were other abominable moves of the Kashmir centric Govt that severely threatened Dogra culture and its rich heritage.
Harsh Dev Singh said that Dogra existence was under serious threat and Panthers Party shall resort to severe agitation against the ‘Cultural invasion’ on Jammu Pradesh which was fraught with dangerous portends.
