JKMEF urges Minister to solve salary issue of FMPHWs

JAMMU, June 4: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) today appealed the Health Minister, Dr Devinder Singh Manyal, to solve the issue of salaries of FMPHWs working under 2211 Head.
The issue came up for discussion during a meeting held here today at JKMEF officer chamber under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, JKMEF. Besides, issue of salaries under 2211 Head, various issues of Health employees were discussed in detail in the meeting.
The meet strongly condemned the delaying attitude of the concerned authorities in delinking the CSS salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking) and urged the Health Minister to personally intervene into the matter to settle the issue of salaries of FMPHWs working under 2211 Head which he assured to be resolved shortly as he is about to visiting the Union Health Minister.
Sudan also condemned the devious attitude of former Health Minister particularly in the instant case which exaggerated the miseries of FMPHWs as again the salaries of FMPHWs are pending for more than three months.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included Vinod Kumar (secretary general, JKMEF), Neelam Kumari (president, FMPHWs), Sureya Akhter (senior vice president), Sapna Gupta (general secretary), Mamta Sharma, Rekha Rani and Gayatri Devi.
