JKMEF discusses demands, elects bodies for block Dansal

JAMMU, Feb 6: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Block Dansal, today discussed their demands and later elected their body and the body of NHM employees Association, Block Dansal, during its one day convention held at PHC Dansal, under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, JKMEF.
The demands of Health Employees and National Health Mission (NHM) were discussed thoroughly in the convention. The hundreds of employees of Block Dansal were present on this occasion who highlighted their just and genuine demands which include amendment of SRO-20 pending since 20 years in the Administrative Department, release of pending salary of employees working under Head 2211 and permanent solution of regular salary, framing policy for regularization of NHM employees, creation of posts of Block Pharmacy Officer and District Pharmacy Officer, etc.
At the end of the convention the employees unanimously elected the body of JKMEF and NHM Employees Association block Dansal.
The newly elected body of JKMEF Block Dansal included Anil Khajuria as president, Manjeet Singh as general secretary, Sudesh Verma as senior vice president, Mahesh Sharma as vice president, Anita Devi as vice president, Janak Raj as cashier, Nand Kishor as organizer, Sayeed Iqbal as pulicity secretary, Brij Mohan as advisor and Mirza Afzal Baig.
The newly elected body of NHM Employees Block Dansal included Rohit Sharma as president, Surinder Singh as senior vice president, Parul Sharma as vice president, Parminder Kour as vice president, Sandeep Singh as general secretary, Dr Aditya Kapoor as advisor, Gopal Dutt as organizer, Rishi Kumar as cashier and Sunanda Kumari as secretary.
