JKMEF appeals Guv to fill vacant posts of officers in Health deptt

JAMMU, Sept 11: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), Jammu province today appealed Governor SP Malik to fill the vacant posts of officers including Director Health Services Jammu in Health department.
Addressing a press conference at Federation Office, DHS Complex, Jammu, Sushil Sudan, president JKMEF, said that the Health department Jammu is running without Director and other division cadre posts in the Directorate office. He said presently the posts lying vacant in the department are Deputy Director (HQ), Deputy Director Scheme, State Malariologist, State Tuberculosis Officer and Divisional Nutrition Officer.
“We are surprised that in Governor Rule, public and employees are suffering due to non-filling of these important vacant posts”, he said, adding, it is the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir that such delay is being done in filling these divisional cadre essential posts.
The leaders of the Federation and different associations appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene personally and fill up the vacant essential posts in the Health department of Jammu Province so that the work in Health department may run smoothly.
Leaders of Federation present in the conference were Vinod Sharma, Kamal Jit Sawhney, Jugal Bakshi, RP Singh, Vishal Patil, Anoop Singh, Subash Choudhary, Madan Lal Sharma, Vishav Bandhu and Kuldeep Kumar.
