JKIPRS holds seminar on topic ‘Jammu Under Siege’

JAMMU, Apr 22: On the eve of National Public Relations Day, J&K State Integration and Public Relation Society (JKIPRS) today held a seminar on the topic “Jammu Under Siege” here at Press Club.
The occasion was graced by Lila Karan Sharma, president, J&K unit of Vishav Hindu Parishad, as chief guest, whereas SS Bijral (Retd IGP) and Dr Ajay Chrungoo (chairman, Panun Kashmir) were the guests of honour. Besides, Ankur Sharma, Advocate, J&K High Court, was the special invitee, who presented the keynote address.
Anil K Padha, Chairman, JKIPRS, gave the introductory note and set the seminar into the motion by his opening remarks in which he said that the people of Jammu Region have been surrounded and now being hounded by the present dispersion and hence the Jammu is under siege.
Advocate Ankur Sharma elaborated the step wise demographical change imposed on the peace loving people of Jammu region in a conspicuous manner by the Muslim regime of the J&K. He described the Roshni Act as a part of the Islamic agenda and said that the same has been challenged in the J&K High Court by him.
Besides, forest and State land has been encroached to settle the Muslim population in the Hindu majority areas, he said and appealed the people of Jammu to stay united and demand a CBI enquiry in the Rassana case to get to the roots of the truth and punish the culprit.
Dr Ajay Chrungoo laid stress on the criminal silence of the State and the Centre for the ethnic cleansing of Hindus and appealed the people of Jammu to be ready for agitation to get their rights.
SS Bijral emphasized the need for awareness of the deep rooted conspiracy being hatched against the peace loving people of Jammu and appealed them to stay united and fight for their legitimate rights.
Lila Karan Sharma showered his blessings and good wishes to Advocate Ankur Sharma for his relentless fight against the corrupt system and assured to stand by him. Later, Ankur Sharma was honoured by JKIPRS through its chairman, Anil K Padha.
