JKGTF submits memorandum to Education Minister

JAMMU, May 23: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum called on Minister for Education Ch Zulfkar Ali under the leadership of State chairman Amar Nath Thakur,   State president JKGTF Satish Dutta and others.
JKGTF apprised the Minister about various core issues of the department and the problems being faced by teaching community.
The delegation hoped early action on the Minister’s directions to JKBOSE for installation of CCTV camera in examination halls, creation of Session Academic Directorates, the linking of club school, regularization for all incharge cadres, creating of Urdu language post in all Govt schools, streamlining the salary under   SSA and RMSA, removal of pay anomalies of Master Grade and detachment of teaching and non teaching staff in the Education Department.
A memorandum of 21 demands was also submitted to the Education Minister, who assured his full help and in return sought their cooperation in streamlining the department.
The deputation comprised of Parveen Singh, Rahul Sambyal, Surjeet Singh Jasrotia, Jagdish Chander, Des Raj, Vijay, Surjeet Singh, Roopa Sambyal, Omkar, Sehdev,   Rakesh Verma, Sudan, Devinder Padha, Avishak, Sudarshan Sambyal, Mohan Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Ved Parkash and Kewal Sharma.
