JKFFA pays tributes to Darzi, Sherwani

JAMMU, Nov 7: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) held a function at Dogra Shourya Smarak, Amphalla to pay floral tributes to the Maqbool Sherwani and Abdul Aziz Darzi- the two freedom fighters.
Sherwani and Darzi misled the way to the Kabaili’s who were entering Jammu and Kashmir to capture J&K in 1947. The two freedom fighters were later shoot dead by the Kabaili’s for showing them the wrong way. In this way, Darji and Sherwani sacrificed their lives while saving the life of thousands of Kashmiris in 1947 aggression of the Kabailis and Pakistani intruders.
The function was organized by the president of the association, Ved Gandotra, who along with other members paid tributes to the martyrs and asked the separatists of the Kashmir valley to learn from the great sacrifices of the martyred nationalists. The members also paid tributes to BJYM Kashmir district president, Gowhar Bhutt, who was brutally killed by militants five days ago.
Rajiv Mahajan (State presidents Shri Ram Sena) and Atul Sudan (vice president, JJSF) were also present.
