JAMMU, Oct 28: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi today said that Jammu and Kashmir possesses immense talent which is opening new vistas for young boys and girls all over the world.
“Our brilliant boys and girls have proved their mettle in every field be it art, culture, sports, education, films, theatre, corporate houses or Government Sector and it is towards this end that more and more youngsters are making us proud by their talent’’. Yudhvir Sethi was speaking during a promotional event of film “Pending Love” in which a young boy Azmat Khwaza from Poonch has acted in lead role. Vikram Singh, State convenor sports arts & culture & Anil Masoom Corporator were also present.
Appreciating the acting of Azmat Khwaza and makers of film Pending Love including Ajay Tiku, Assistant Director, the BJP general secretary said such opportunities if tapped in right earnest will open new avenues for youngsters. He said more and more films must be shot in beautiful locales of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said many stalwarts in music and art world have proved their mettle in world over and hoped that more young boys and girls will excel in their fields. He appreciated the film makers and said that this should be screened in Jammu and Kashmir to let people know potential of our youngsters. He said Jammu and Kashmir has come a long way in art world and it’s high time a full-fledged magazine dedicated to art world must be taken out from this State.
Corporator, Anil Masoom in his address said it’s an honour that a young boy from Mandi area of district Poonch has acted in the film and added that coming from such a remote area and doing a leading role in films is great achievement. There are many more such boys and girls who are working in TV serials and “we have immense talent’’.
Vikram Singh in his speech said that it’s the moment of happiness for entire State that a Poonch boy has played a meritorious role in film which is being released on November 2.
The Director of film is Shahid Kazmi and Associate Director Adtiya Tickoo said that this film is based on real character of true love of young generations.
