J&K Wrestler Benia Min wins Domana Kesari Dangal Title

Katra, Oct 3: Wrestler Benia Min of Basantgarh in Udhampur District clinched the “15th Annual Domana Kesari Vishal Dangal Title by defeating Wrestler Vikram Gujjar of Delhi in a very tough fight that lasted for 10 minutes.
The historic one day wrestling event was organized by Domana Dangal Committee in Association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the supervision of Raj Hussian, President of Domana Dangal Committee and President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
In all, 105 bouts were played in the one day long Dangal and Rs 6, 37,000 has been incurred for conduct of this Vishal Dangal.
Wrestler Muneer Khan was declared as the best Wrestler of the Dangal. He was cash awarded with Rs 1,100.
SSP Secretariat Dushyant Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the winners and runners-up Wrestlers. Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India and President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association presided over the function.
Retired SP Prithvi Raj Sharma who is also Treasurer J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association was the guest of honour. Chairman Rajinder Seth & Sarpanch Shamaher Singh were also present on the occasion.
Dushyant Sharma former President Wrestling Federation of India in presence of Shiv Kumar Sharma, PR Sharma, Raj Hussian and Sarpanch Shamsher Singh gave Rs 71,000 as cash prize money to winner of Ist malli bout Wrestler Benia Min while Rs 40,000 was given to runners-up Wrestler Vikram Gujjar.
