J&K witnessing overall development: Kohli

RAJOURI, Feb 25: Minister for Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today said Central Government is fully committed to ensure sustainable growth and faster development of entire state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Minister was addressing a public grievances redressal camp at Kallar Rajouri where locals briefed him about the problems faced by them. The Minister assured them that the issues highlighted by them would be resolved at the earliest.
The Minister said in order to achieve this goal Central Government is extending helping hand to the State Government by all possible means. “Because of the facilitating attitude of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi we are able to launch many pro-poor schemes and developmental projects which will definitely make a mark in the development of the State,” he added.
The Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of all the programmes being run by the Government.
Meanwhile, the Minister appealed the locals to avail the benefits of all the schemes/projects besides providing feedback for further improvement of the scheme if needed.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Bhat, Senior Superintendent of Police Suleiman Choudhary, Executive Engineer PHE PWD besides other district officers accompanied the Minister.
