JAMMU, Apr 3: Jammu and Kashmir State team bagged 1st runners-up Trophy in 24th National Thang-Ta Champio-nship held at Rohtak in Haryana, recently.
The team won a big haul of 79 medals including 28 Gold, 34 Silver and 17 Bronze in all age groups including Sub Junior, Junior and Senior (male and female).
As many as 31 State teams participated in the Champi-onship, which was organized by Haryana Thang-Ta Association in collaboration with Thang-Ta Federation of India.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ansa Gulzar from Sheikhpora, Budgam was declared as the best fighter of the tournament in Junior Girls Category.
