AHMADABAD, Sept 11: To encourage people of Gujarat to visit J&K, J&K Tourism Department is participating in the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad with an objective to showcase the tourism products of the State. The 3-day event will witness tourism delegates from across the country and abroad.
The delegation of J&K Tourism is being led by the Director Tourism, Jammu R K Varma and officers and private tourism players of the State.
While interacting with the media on the sidelines of TTF, Mr Varma said that TTF is one of the biggest travel show network of India and participation in these shows strengthens our age old trade relations besides developing fresh business relations. “We are committed to provide best tourist facilities at all our destinations to the tourists who wish to visit our State”, he said, adding  all premium tourist destinations of Jammu and Kashmir remained unaffected during the last year flood.
Mr Varma informed the participants that during autumn visitors to Jammu and Kashmir will be given 40% discount on accommodation in all Government and private establishments.
The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism stall witnessed huge response during the opening day of the TTF.
