JAMMU, Aug 11: The adhoc committee of IPF has named 18 members team for representing J&K in the forthcoming Power Lifting Championship to be held at Kerala from August 14 to 19.
The final selection of the team has been made on the basis of the performance of the players in the recently concluded trial under the supervision of IPF officials Salman Lone, Parminder Kour and Jasprit Singh.
In men’s team, the selected players are Shivam Thapper, Shiv Charan Singh, Tarun Dev Singh, Rakshit Sharma, Ankush Sundan, Amandeep Bassan, Sandeep Banmotra, Adil Ashraf and Narinder Bakshi.
In Women’s team, the selected players are Malvi Gupta, Renu Gupta, Sunita Devi, Manjeet Kour, Ekta Rani, Suman Devi, Neha Badyal, Rakshita Bhogal and Anjana Devi.
The team will be accompanied by IPF Adhoc Committee Secretary Parminder Kour.
Salman Lone, Ajay Sharma, Rahul Sawhney and Sumitpal Singh gave best wishes to the team and hoped that the team will bring laurels for J&K.
