JK SPDC, J&K Police register wins

JAMMU, Feb 22: Defeating their rivals convincingly, JK SPDC and J&K Police entered into the next rounds of the ongoing 1st Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match played today, JK SPDC defeated Shaheen Football Club by four goals to three (4-3) via tie-breaker.
Earlier, none of the teams succeeded in scoring a goal in the stipulated time.
In another match, J&K Police scored a solitary goal win over J&K Bank Academy. Pardeep Kumar was the goal scorer from JKP.
The matches were officiated by Vijay Kumar, Ricky Kumar, Rockey Kumar, Koshal Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Dheeraj Meenia and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio).
Adity Chowhan, International Football Player and NA Khan, Ex-President JKFA were the chief guests in the two matches played today.
