J&K schools to have NCERT curriculum

NEW DELHI: Amid the controversy raged by Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, Jammu and Kashmir Government is ready to implement NCERT curriculum in its schools.

This information was given by Anil Swarup, Secretary, Education on the first day of the 65th Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) meeting here. Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar and Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari were also present. The proposal is also received to affiliate the Government and private schools of the hill state with the CBSE, informed Mr Swarup. (AGENCIES)
