J&K NSS volunteer represents India in South Korea

JAMMU, Aug 7: Jasvir Singh, an NSS volunteer and national awardee from Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir represented India in South Korea, as he was one of the members of a youth delegation who was in South Korea from July 25 to August 2.
The programme was sponsored by Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with Government of South Korea to strengthen relations between two countries and exchange the culture and thoughts of youth of both the countries.
The Indian delegation was comprised of 23 youth from across the country and one from Sports Authority of India, and was accompanied by IB Lenka, Under Secretary, Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
During their visit to South Korea, the Indian delegation visited Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Government of South Korea as well as Siheunge City, Ulsan Foreign Language high School, National Museum, UN Peace memorial Hall, Busan, Samsung Innovation Museum. The youth from India also interacted with university students of Korea over the issues of global importance.
