JAMMU, Aug 9: Jugal Kishore Sharma BJP MP (Lok Sabha) from Jammu-Poonch along with Member of Parliament  Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas and Mir Mohd.Fayaz met with Minister of State for Defence Subhash Ramrao Bhamre and demanded special percentage in recruitment drive  at Ammunition Depot 15 FAD C/o 56 APO,Jindrah district Jammu for inhabitants of Village Kanyala,Kahpota,Jindrah,Madin and Block Dansal.
Jugal said that the Ammunition Depot 15 FAD is situated at Jindrah and the inhabitants of the area demand for their fundamental right to have special percentage in recruitment drive at Ammunition Depot 15 FAD C/o 56 APO Jindrah. The inhabitants approached many a times to him to raise their issue to the Ministry of Defence, GoI New Delhi.
The deputation informed the Minister about the problems faced by the residents of Kanyala, Kahpota,Madin,Salaye and block Dansal. It said the land has been acquired by Ammunition Depot and there is no more land to cultivate by which the people can earn their livelihood which led to unemployment,. Moreover, the inhabitants have been assured that they were provided some special benefits in 15 FAD C/O 56 APO recruitment drive but all in vain. They are still fighting for their genuine right. Jugal urged Minister that some percentage or special quota should be provided to the inhabitants of Kanyala,Kahpota,Jindrah,Madin and block Dansal so that they would be able to survive and can earn their livelihood. Member of Parliament said that they have approached with a positive hope and feeling secure under the great stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Minister of Defene, Subhash Bhamre assured that he will take up the matter personally and take further necessary action in their favour at the earnest. He assured that best efforts would be made to consider on priority.
