JK Montessorie School organizes Painting Competition

JAMMU, May 31: JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School organized a Painting Competition and Awareness Programme Activity aiming at protecting the environment in the school premises, here today.
The topic of the competition was ” Stop Pollution, Save Environment” where and more than 600 students took part in Painting Competition.
The competition was divided into three groups.
In Ist group, Ramya, Arya Sharma and Veronica Bhardwaj at the Ist, 2nd & 3rd  positions.
In 2nd group, Vishwas Gupta, Khushbu Chandra and Jatin Pal Singh  claimed the Ist, 2nd, 3rd positions.
In 3rd Group, Divya Anand, Asmit Bangotra & Ansh Patyal secured the Positions respectively.
JK Little Millienium, affiliate unit of JKMS also visited to Manda Zoo” where a special awareness Programme on save Environment took place with various activities like Environment Day worksheets, rhymes and songs.
Later, Sanjeev Gupta Managing Director of School spoke upon the need to plant more saplings on a massive scale for improving the green cover , as the planet fared serious environmental challenges in the form of global warming and other calamities.
