JAMMU, Apr 15: Jammu and Kashmir Junior men’s team defeated Hockey Tripura by eight goals to two (8-2) in the 7th National Hockey Championship, which is in progress at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
For J&K, six goals were scored by Ramandeep Singh, including a hat-trick, while the remaining two goals were netted by Suraj Singh and Gurjot Singh respectively.
J&K will lock horns with Hockey Patiala in the next outing.
