JAMMU, Nov 13: J&K Sports Taekwondo Association organized Inter School Taekwondo Championship, here.
A total of 225 students from various schools of Jammu Province including DRS Kids Trikuta Nagar, The Roots Montessori House, Aglow Kids, DRS Kids Talab Tillo, DRS Sainik Colony Chowadhi, MV International School, Delhi Public School and Cinosural International Elementary School took part.
On the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh, former Education Minister was the chief guest, who awarded the winners along with guests of honour KC Mehta Principal Army Public School Akhnoor and Kundan Lal Dogra from MV International School. JS Dhami Principal Heritage Public School, Rajeev Mahajan, Shiv Kumar Jolly BJP Leader, Anil Nanda, General Secretary of the Association, Ronika Nanda Treasurer, Neha Chauhan, Ankur Sharma, Sunny Nanda, General Secretary Speed Ball Association and Sahil Janjua were also present.
Anil Nanda while addressing the gathering said that opportunity will be provided to the students, who won the Gold medal to participate in the National Championship going to be held in December.
In under-12 to 14 Sub Junior (girls), Virtika Gupta, Arohi Choudhary and Jigisha Soni bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in under-14 to 17, Myra Gupta and Raagya Koul clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Lavisha Gupta and Prisha Sharma secured Bronze medals, in under-17 to 20, Manya Verma and Ishanvi Sharma bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Safiya Sharma and Gunsaanjh Kour clinched Bronze medals, in under-20 to 23, Kavya Langar and Yotirmaya Karki clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Gayatri Bhat and Lakshika secured Bronze medals, in under-23 to 26, Aarohi Singh and Agriya Tidyal clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Anureet Kour and Chavi Katyal secured Bronze medals, in under-26 to 29, Akshara Sharma, Mansi Kaul and Damia Singh bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, in under-29 to 32, Ananya Krishna and Aaditi Jamwal bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Suzen Nanda and Toyeba Banoo bagged Bronze medals.
In under-12 to 14 Sub-Junior (boys), Viraj Gupta and Ananay Sachdeva bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Saatvik Sharma and Yuvan Bhagotra bagged Bronze medals, in under-14 to 17 (Group-A), Aaarav Kumar Menia, Amayveer Singh Randhawa and Aatharv Aggarwal bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, in under-17 to 20 (Group-A), Aarav Gupta and Shivyansh Gupta bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Aarav Pargal and Ritwik Manyal clinched Bronze medals, in under-17 to 20 (Group-B), Atharv, Samarth Gupta and Prajvil Antahal bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, in under-20 to 23 (Group-A), Omaansh Singla and Rubab Singh Jaggi bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Ayaan Verma and Pratham Mittal bagged Bronze medals, in under-20 to 23 (Group-B), Rishav Sharma and Japtej Singh bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Daiwik Tickoo and Tanvsh Maini bagged Bronze medals, in under-23 to 26 (Group-A), Dhairya Koul and Satwik Mahajan bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Hartej Singh and Aaban Husain Khan clinched Bronze medals, in under-23 to 26 (Group-B), Shivan Mahajan and Gurneh Singh bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Asneh Singh and Ibhanan Singh bagged Bronze medals.
In under-26 to 29 (Group-A), Sahas Gandotra and Umar Raza clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Nihal Verma and Chaitanya Mahajan clinched Bronze medals, whereas in Group-B, Haseem Mohd and Sukashman Sharma clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Kartikay Angurana and Udhay Sharma bagged Bronze medals and in Group-C, Garav Sharma and Divit Padha bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Arjunjeet Singh and Harshdeep Singh clinched Bronze medals.
In under-29 to 32 (Group-A), Roshan Singh and Akshit Sharma bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Tanmay Raina and Mohammad Isfan secured Bronze medals, in Group-B, Lakshay Gupta and Harshit Sharma clinched Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Saparsh Choudhary and Prince Kapoor bagged Bronze medals.
In under-32 to 35 (Senior Boy), Himanshu and Sahil Sharma bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, in under-35 to 38 (Senior Boy), Gurpreet Singh and Aadishwar Jamwal bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Prabjot Singh and Sushant clinched Bronze medals, in under-38 to 41 (Senior Boy), Aryan Gupta and Adhyan Gujral bagged Gold and Silver medals respectively, while Akshit Slathia and Rauthan clinched Bronze medals and in under-60 to 63 (Senior Boy), Shakti Prasad clinched Gold medal.
