JAMMU, Mar 7: A Forest officer from J&K has topped in the 18th month long Rangers’ Training Course programme held at Sundernagar  in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Forest and Environment Minister  Thakur Singh Bhamouri awarded gold Medal to J&K officer, Suresh Kumar Sharma for remaining at the top in course. A total 29 officers from Kerala, J&K and various others states participated in the training programme. They included two lady trainees.
Mushtak Ahmed Mir, Mumtaz Majid, Rathish T and Sindhumathi were awarded silver medal in the training course for their performance. Dr Goraya, Dy DG ( Research), ICFRE Dehradun, PCCF Himachal Pradesh, Addl PCCF Arvind Aluperia, Dir Training S K Gupta, Addl PCCF Dr Chandresh were also present on the occasion.
