JAMMU, Jan 3: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Powerlifting Association team excelled in Subrata Classic International Benchpress, Deadlift and Powerlifting Championship at Milanee Hall in Jamshedpur, recently.
Raza Rabbani won two gold and one silver medal, while Akshay Gupta bagged one gold and one silver medal, Vickramjeet Singh and Vikrant Singh claimed bronze medal each in this Championship.
J&K team won best dress and discipline award in the Championship also.
The team was honoured by the Managing Committee comprising of Rajan Jain, General Secretary of the Association and Arjuna Awardee, Subrata Dutta, General Secretary of Indian Powerlifting Federation.
