JK Electric Manufacturers Association call on DyCM

SRINAGAR, June 28: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today said that the Government has undertaken a holistic programme to upgrade and augment the existing infrastructure by way of various Central and State flagship schemes and necessary instructions have been passed to involve local manufacturers and human resource.
The Deputy Chief Minister was interacting with deputation of JK Electric Manufacturers Association, which called on him here today.
Commissioner Secretary, PDD, Dheeraj Gupta and other senior officers of the Department were also present.
The deputationists projected various issues pertaining to their trade. They also projected that they should also be involved in the implantation process of various schemes meant for augmenting the electric infrastructure and transmission capability.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the deputationists that necessary instructions have already been given to involve local manufacturers in the Central and State sponsored schemes. He said that by doing so the manufacturers would be benefitted as their capacity of producing the goods would increase manifold. He said that the State would be opening up new avenues for the aspiring entrepreneurs as well as the existing ones.
Later  legislators, Ch Sukhnandan and Ranbir Singh Pathania also called on Deputy Chief Minister and discussed various issues pertaining to their constituencies, especially those of power.
Dr Singh assured the legislators that issues in their areas would be addressed on priority and directed the Commissioner Secretary, PDD to ensure their time-bound redressal.
