J&K dominates Day-1 of 3rd North Zone Pencak Silat C’ship

JAMMU, Jan 5: J&K Pencak Silat players excelled on Day-1 of the 3rd edition of North Zone Pencak Silat Championship 2018 by winning 14 Gold , 14 Silver and 5 Bronze medals at Panchayat Bhawan, Hisar in Haryana.
The 3rd edition of North Zone Pencak Silat Championship 2018 was organized by Pencak Silat Association Haryana under the banner of North India Pencak Silat Federation.
The three days North India Championship was inaugurated by Baljeet Singh Lehra, Commisioner, Excise & Taxation, Bupinder Gangwa, Chairman, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee.
350 players from J&K, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab & host haryana are participating in this mega event.
The players of the senior men and women will be selected for the All India Inter Zonal Pencak Silat Championship 2018-19 to be held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in Punjab from February 8 to February 10, 2019.
