J&K Branch of ICAI organizes seminar on bank audits

JAMMU, Mar 25: J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), organized a seminar on bank audit.
CA Lokesh Gupta was the guest speaker on bank audit and IT experts from Jammu and Kashmir Bank Limited and Punjab National Bank were the guest speakers on finacle commands.
The first technical session was presided over by CA Lokesh Gupta who gave a detailed presentation on the bank audit outlining the changes in the provisions necessitated by the demonetisation and other important issues required to be reported in the audit report. He also addressed the queries raised by the members on related issues.
During the special session, Ramakant Khajuria, Executive-IS Audit and Abha Mahajan, Senior Executive-IT from Jammu and Kashmir Bank Limited and Puran Dhar, Chief Manager from Punjab National Bank addressed the members giving detailed overview on finacle commands relevant to audit. They also answered various queries raised by the members on the subject.
CA Anish Abrol, Secretary of the Branch delivered the inaugural address and introduced the guests.
Earlier, CA Sudhir Kumar Arora, Chairman of the Branch presented the welcome address, whereas in the end, CA Ajay Kumar Gupta, Vice-Chairman of the branch presented the vote of thanks.
Executive Committee member CA Ashwani Khajuria and CA Shalay Razdan were also present on the occasion.
