JAMMU, May 15: The J&K State Board of School Education has been adjudged as 2nd top Futuristic School Board of India 2017 among 35 School Boards of the country by the Editorial Board of ‘ReTHINK INDIA’ on a host of analytical parameters.
In this regard, Chairman JK BOSE, Prof Zahoor Ahmad Chatt, has been honoured with a memento at a felicitation ceremony organized on National Technology Day recently.
This felicitation has been awarded in recognition of the services being offered by the JK BOSE to its stakeholders at even the remotest and cut- off areas of the state after switching over to some online services like online submission of re-evaluation forms and application forms for obtaining xerox copies of answer-scripts together with deposition of prescribed fees through payment gateways, providing of results through SMS services, availability of syllabi of all the classes in PDF format on its official website, besides, making available all the result notifications, examination calendar, status of affiliation and other main activities of the BOSE on its web site, which has brought convenience to the users who are not required now to visit the BOSE office for such services.
