SRINAGAR, Sept 11: J&K Bank will remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays of every month from this month.
The Bank, however, will work full-day on remaining Saturdays (1st and 3rd) instead of half days.
The pronouncement has been made following the receipt of communication to this effect from Indian Banks Association (IBA).
The decision comes in the wake of an agreement reached between Apex Body of bank managements IBA and employee unions.
