J&K Bank opens fresh currency counter at Vaishno Devi Bhawan

JAMMU, Mar 29: On the eve of Navratras, Business Unit Vaishno Devi Bhawan of J&K Bank, has offered services of fresh cash currency/Note exchange counter.
The fresh currency counter was inaugurated by Dr Piyush Singla, Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) in presence of SDM Bhawan, Jagdish Singh and Cluster Head, J&K Bank Reasi, Ravi Kumar, in a small but impressive function. Branch Head, J&K Bank, Branch Vaishno Devi Bhawan, Ravi Sharma was also present.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Piyush Singla highlighted the relentless efforts of the bank at Vaishno Devi Bhawan and in the State of Jammu and Kashmir for the upliftment of the weaker section, trade and industry and being the biggest industry of the State in absorption of highest number of unemployed local youth. He also appreciated the efforts of J&K Bank for their relentless service during demonetization drive.
Ravi Kumar, Cluster Head, also spoke on the occasion. He said that the facility of fresh currency notes has been started to facilitate the devotees coming here from the length and breadth of the country.
The function was attended by officials of the SMVDSB, J&K Police, CRPF, local shopkeepers and large number of devotees from different corners of the country.
