J&K Bank conducts awareness camp for police personnel

SRINAGAR, Nov 22: J&K Bank today conducted an awareness camp-cum-workshop at J&K Armed Police Complex Zewan wherein police personnel participated in large numbers.
The awareness camp was organized in line with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between J&K Police Department and the J&K Bank to educate the police personnel about the contents of the MoU and bank’s entire range of digital products.
IGP Armed Police Syed Afadul Mujtaba inaugurated the camp in presence of Executive President, SS Sehgal, Zonal Head Kashmir Central-I Manzoor Hussain, vice-president Sushil Kumar Gupta, Cluster Head Shafat Kitaba, Battalion Commandant Shailender Singh, Head business unit Zewan and many others.
Commending the significant role of both organizations in the State, the IGP termed the recent agreement signed between J&K Bank and J&K Police as huge step towards the financial well-being of the police personnel and their families.
Speaking on the occasion, SS Sehgal gave a detailed overview of the signed agreement to the audience and urged the police personnel to avail multiple benefits extended particularly to them under the agreement.
On the occasion, the digital marketing team gave a comprehensive presentation about the entire range of bank’s digital products along with their benefits and procedures. Live demonstration of ‘Phone pe Loan’, the exclusive product for the Police Department, was also made on the occasion.
The participants were provided with detailed information viz a viz Credit Card – its optimal & safe usage, Digital Banking – J&K Bank mPAY, QR Code Scan, e-banking and Met Suraksha. On the spot registration and activation of bank’s easy, swift and safe app mPay on the mobile phones of many police personnel was also done on the occasion.
Manzoor Hussain advised the participants to be more conscious while transacting through the online mode and never share the details of their ATM and Credit cards to anyone under any circumstances, to insulate themselves against cyber frauds.
