JAMMU, Jan 7: .Jammu and Kashmir lifted the runners-up trophy in the 18th National Sqay Championship at Goa.
Apart from emerging runners-up, it was for the first time that Jammu and Kashmir players lifted three champion of champions titles in Sub Junior boys and girls and Junior girls. The champion players included Hanaya Nissar, Aayat Ahlem and Mehran Nisar.
The president of the Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association, Riyaz Ahmad Shah lauded the efforts of the players and their coaches and parents for this achievement.
He also extended thanks to Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Parra for encouraging the players and promoting the game.
