J&K bags 9 medals on day-1 of 38th National Taekwando C’ship

JAMMU, Oct 2: Jammu and Kashmir bagged 9 medals with one gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals in the ongoing three days 38th National Taekwondo Championship, being organised by the Association of Taekwondo J&K, under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India.
The gold medal went to Kamaya Thakur of J&K, while the silver medallists included Adarsh Sharma, Saatwik Bamotra and Nayonika Sharma.
The bronze medals were won by Kanish, Akshar Bamotra, Aprajita Sharma, Palak Mehta and Gurbani Kour.
Earlier, the Championship was declared open by Arun Kumar Gupta, Vice President BJP J&K, while Arvind Gupta, President, Association of Taekwondo J&K and Navneet Mahajan were also present.
