Jitendra Singh inaugurates Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Kathua

JAMMU: Union Minister Jitendra Singh today inaugurated Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) in Kathua district and said over 12 lakh people would be benefitted by it.

He asserted that this facility would help in pacing up the process of issuance and delivery of passports and said the objective of opening POPSK is to extend passport services on a larger scale and ensure coverage of wider area.

“The development projects of the Central Government are not limited only to urban areas but the rural population is also getting its due share,” the Minister of State in the PMO said after inaugurating the POPSK at Kathua’s head post office. (AGENCIES)
