JAMMU, July 12: Two organisations Jammu for India (JFI) and Panun Kashmir (PK) while strongly condemning the attack on Amarnath yatris in Anantnag district of South Kashmir on July 10 today said that Hindus are face to face with a Jehadi war in the State.
Addressing a joint press conference here , Prof Hari Om, convener JFI, Ankur Sharma advocate who is leading the legal battle against the demographic change in Jammu and PK convener Dr Agnishekhar and its chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo today said the killing of Hindu pilgrims in Kashmir is once again a grim reminder that Kashmir is fast becoming a Syria where fascists rule the roost. “Let there be no confusion that the attack on Amarnath pilgrims in Kashmir is an act of Jehad”, they added.

They said six million Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists are very clear that they are not merely facing the challenge of isolated acts of terrorism but a full fledged Jehadi war. Ignoring this reality will bring peril to the nation. Calling the total war of Jehad as merely terrorism is a criminal and suicidal act of trivializing it, they added.
“We have no hesitation to state that running of a Government in the State on the basis of Agenda of Alliance is not only denial of the Jehadi war going on in the State but also an act of collaboration in it. All the institutions of indoctrination and recruitment for Jehad in Jammu and Kashmir have not only flourished during PDP-BJP rule but have also received protection from the State, they added.
“We condemn the statement of the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh in which he blamed the hapless victims themselves for the gruesome tragedy for having travelled into Kashmir in an ‘unregistered bus’. Is Kashmir a no go area for Indians? Have Indians to travel to Kashmir after permission either from the Government or the Islamist terrorists, they argued?
It is time to ask Government of India why it deliberately lies to the nation by describing the situation in Kashmir as hunky dory and lure Indians to Kashmir as normal tourists or pilgrims. Why does Government of India not inform the people of India and the world at large that Kashmir is in the grip of a religious movement which is more fascist than the racist fascism that ravaged Germany?
They appealed to Hindus and all nationalists in the State and across the nation not to look at the parties like Congress and BJP to come to their rescue as both of them have willfully become collaborators in promoting Jihad in the State and rest of India. “We appeal to all of them to rise independently of any crutches”, they added.
It is time that Mohalla level Defense Committees are formed by the citizens themselves to save Jammu and the State. We appeal to people of Jammu to be proactive in this direction.
“We vehemently urge the Prime Minister to address the nation about attacks being inflicted on the Hindus across the nation, they said. “We also urge him to address the concern of Hindus of Jammu and Kashmir in particular who have voted for BJP and suffered being hostaged to an alliance which has only harmed and hurt them. It is a hard fact that each time Prime Minister came to Jammu and Kashmir he chose to totally ignore the Hindus of the State including the attrition and deprivation they have been subjected to”, they added.
