JD(S) condemns disrespect of National Anthem by legislators

JAMMU, Jan 3: Expressing concern over happenings in the J&K Legislative Assembly, the State unit of Janta Dal (Secular) has condemned disrespect shown by the legislators to the National Anthem.
In a meeting of the party office bearers held here today at party headquarters, Raghunath Bazaar, Jammu, Mast Nath Yogi, State president of the party, condemned disrespect shown by some legislatures to National Anthem on the very first day of the State Assembly session. He also condemned disruption of house during Governor’s address by the opposition legislatures.
He also condemned statements of some ruling and opposition leaders, who opposed settlement of West Pakistan Refugees (WPRs) and demanded that WPRs be granted citizenship rights in J&K.
The party also condemned settlement of Burmese and Bangladeshies in Jammu and hiking of prices of ration by the Government.
