JDA Employees Union threatens hunger strike

JAMMU, Apr 15: Jammu Development Authority Employees Union today threatened to launch hunger strike over transfer orders.
In a handout, the Union said that on April 5, JDA ordered some transfers in violation of Model Code of Conduct. “Despite our request for withdrawing the order, another transfer order was issued on April 11”, the Union said.
“In case these transfer orders are not withdrawn the employees will launch hunger strike”, the Union warned.
