MENDHAR, Mar 30: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was died of heart attack at a forward post in Mankote sub sector of Mendhar today.
The JCO was identified as Naib Subedar, Shamsher Singh of 15 Mahar Regiment. The JCO complained of severe chest pain at the Naini Post near the LOC in the morning and was rushed to the nearby Military Unit hospital. He was declared as dead. The body was sent to SDH Mendhar. The Police said it was mysterious death and they have taken cognizance of the matter.
