JCC delegation calls on RRC

JAMMU,  June 5: A delegation of Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) led by its chairman, S N Gurtoo and president, Ravi Zutshi called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina here and recalled the issues which the organization leaders had already discussed with him but remained unsettled till date.
The delegation demanded that Government hospital at Jagti should be made functional up to 10 pm daily, besides medicines be made available in the hospital which should also be provided with an X Ray machine.
It demanded better civic amenities as prevailing insanitation in the area has added to the woes of the people there, repairs of road from Kandoli Mata temple to Jagti township and construction of pacca road from Jagti township to Cremation Ground.
It further demanded construction of passenger shed at National Highway, the engineers be asked to execute the repair work in the township as per the specification and refrain from using pick and choose method in repair work.
The RRC assured the delegation that the issues will be looked into. Surinder Koul, Chand Ji Pandita, Gopi Nath, Chaman Lal, Chuni Lal, Raj Kapoor, Pushkar Nath and Vinod Ji were the other members of the delegation.
