JAMMU, Mar 13: A delegation of Jagti Co-ordination Committee (JCC) called on Commissioner- Secretary, Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation here, today and highlighted the problems of the migrants putting up at Jagti before him.
The delegation was led by Ravi Zutshi, president, JCC. The delegation demanded permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits. It expressed concern over non availability of medicines and other equipments in the 40 bedded Jagti Hospital and non functioning of street lights and demanded these issues be solved immediately. The delegation further demanded construction of road to Cremation Ground, maintenance of parks and renovation of quarters be done as per the satisfaction of inmates.
The other members of the delegation included Mrs Surinder Koul, Dilip Bazaz, Ravi Ji, Chand Ji and Raj Kapoor.
