NOWSHERA, Aug 14: An Army jawan was injured as his service rifle went off accidentally in Nowshera sector of district Rajouri this afternoon.
Official source s said that mishap took place at around 1 pm in Kalal area of Nowshera. Sepoy , Ganpati Gade of 24 Maratha Light Infantry was deployed at some forward location and was on routine patrol. He suddenly slipped and fell down along with his loaded gun and sustained bullet injury. The injured jawan was shifted to local unit hospital by his colleagues.
