SRINAGAR, Nov 29: Clinching gold in 75 kg category, Javed Bhatti emerged champion of champions in Mr J&K Classic Body Building & Fitness Championship, organized by District Body Building Association Srinagar at Tagore Hall, here.
The Championship was held in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, under the banner of Body Building Association of Jammu and Kashmir.
The slogan of the championship was “Say No to Drugs, Stay Healthy”.
Rajesh Dutta, General Secretary Body Bulding Association of J&K was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes and certificates among the winners and runners-up teams.
Earlier, in 55kg class, Sheezan Majed, Tanveer Ahmad and Adil Pervaiz claimed gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in 60 kg class, Shiva Schadiv won gold, Samir Majid bagged silver and Vimal Jit claimed bronze and in 65 kg, Ajeet Singh Jamaal, Sheikh Ismail and Tawseef clinched first three positions respectively.
In 70 kg, Shoaib Wani won gold, Mohd Nayeem claimed silver and Mohd Umer bagged bronze, while in 75 kg, Javed Batti won gold, Sameer Najar bagged silver and Akhtar Ajaz claimed bronze.
In 80 kg, Faizan Fayaz Bhat and Irfan Lone won gold and silver respectively.
85 kg: Wasim Khan, Suhail Wadoo and Ruhullah Najar.
90 kg: Umer Farooq, Irfan Ahmed Zaroo and Bilal Ahmad.
95 kg: Shameem Ahmed
In Men’s Physique, the winners included Mohsin Rashid, Shivam Sachdiv, Shoib Wani, Mohd Nayeem and Amir Rashid Fafoo.
