JAMMU, Oct 21: Jaswinder Singh has been elected as president while Neeraj Malagar as general secretary of the OT Technicians Association for Jammu province.
In a meeting of the operation theatre technicians held here today under the chamber of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president JKMEF the new provincial body of the OT Technicians was framed for Jammu province. Senior members of the Federation were also present.
Jaswinder Singh was unanimously elected as president, Ravi Kumar senior vice president, Gagandeep Singh as vice president, Neeraj Malagar general secretary , Pankaj Sharma secretary, Shivani publicity secretary , Tarsem Kumar cashier while Balbir Singh as chief advisor.
Mr Sudan congratulated the new body and assured every possible support. Later, the newly elected body of the OT Technicians led by Mr Sudan met the Director Health Services Jammu Dr Gurjeet Singh and also discussed their problems with him. The Director listened them patiently and assured to resolve the same. Senior Federation members- Harpal Singh, Manjeet Singh, Vishal Patil, Vishal Sharma, Suresh Gupta and Deepak Kumar also accompanied.
