JAPA constitutes high power committee to take up issues with Govt

JAMMU, June 2: Jammu Asphalt Pavement Association (JAPA), Jammu Province held its annual meeting which was attended by all the 20 hot mix plant owners.
In the meeting, the members discussed various issues being faced by them including pre-qualification of tenders, sudden increase in inflow of contractors from other States and poor funding by the State Government.
The members constituted a high power committee to take up all major issues with the State Government and PWD (R&B).
The new committee will be headed by KN Singh, Patron, CP Gupta, Chairman, Sham Singh, President, Naresh Sharma, Vice President, Vinod Kohli, General Secretary and Sudhir Mehta, Treasurer.
The association members also pledged to provide smooth riding surface by using new high tech and most modern machines to compete with works done in other developed States of the country.
