The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has nominated Mr Dubey as the observer for the final T20 match of India-England series.
Mr Dubey, who happens to be the Chairman of the broadly structured Parade Sports Association, has the distinction of being a senior State cricketer, an enthusiastic organizer and an efficient manager.
Meanwhile, Parade Sports Association has congratulated Mr Dubey for his nomination as the BCCI observer and thanked Iqbal Ahmed Shah, General Secretary JKCA for recommendation of his name for this prestigious assignment.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the BCCI system of functioning, the match observer only has the authority to provide passes for witnessing the match. For that matter, the assignment of Desh Rattan Dubey as the observer in an International match is the moment of pride for the entire State.
