Jammu United, SRTC XI among winners in State Football C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 1: Jammu United and J&K SRTC XI were among other winners today in the ongoing 25th State Football Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
Jammu United got better of Jammu Sainik Colony by six goals to five (6-5) via tie-breaker, J&K SRTC defeated DFA Ganderbal by a solitary goal, Churchill Brothers trounced DFA Baramulla by (4-2) via tie-breaker. DFA Anantnag defeated DFA Udhampur by (2-0) and the match between Vijay Club and Young Rovers was stopped due to bad light and will be played tomorrow.
