JAMMU, Nov 9: First time in Jammu and first of its kind, Table Tennis Academy, equipped with latest International Table Tennis and allied equipments is opening shortly in Jammu on November 17, 2013.
The Academy will be established and run under the supervision of a table tennis coach of great repute, Ramesh Magotra, who has the distinction of being the senior most NIS qualified coach in the State, besides having the honour of winning Above-40 Veteran Nationals more than once.
Mr Magotra, has the distinction of representing the country as an official in two World Table Tennis Championships, apart from having immense teaching experience in the subjects of Sports Management, Philosophy, Yoga and Recreation.
Meanwhile, the Academy, which is scientifically designed to help the budding peddlers hone their skill up to the maximum level, will be opened on the first floor of the State Bank of India, Guru Nanak Nagar Branch, Jammu.
According to Mr Magotra, the peddlers interested to join the Academy can register themselves with the Academy from November 12, 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm on first come first basis.
