Jammu Sanskriti School excels in Yoga Competition

JAMMU, Feb 22: The Namo Gange Trust, a non-profit organization, initiated the auditions of ‘The Little Master of Yoga” for the first time in the history of Yoga in order to provide an insight of ancient as well as the modern approach of high profile Yogis & Yoginis.
The on-spot auditions were conducted in various cities of India in all respective regions.
For conducting on-spot auditions in J&K, Namo Gange Trust collaborated with Technyne for all NGO and Dr Jagdish Sharma (Yoga Guru) and held auditions at OM Palace, here.
Various schools participated in the contest in which Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu students namely Sumit, Bhumi Gupta and Punit in the age group of 10-17 years bagged top 3 places and got selected for the finals.
Dr.Jagdish Sharma, the organizer of the event congratulated all the participants for their wonderful performance & also enlightened the participants about scientific relevance & importance of Yoga on the health of individuals.
He also gave some tips to students in order to improve their performance and preparation further for the Grand Finale, which is scheduled to be held from May 10 to May 12, 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the School, Rohini Aima lauded the efforts of the students and their coach Mr Rajesh for good show.
