POONCH, Sept 27: District Jammu bagged Under-14 and Under-17 titles in the Inter District Divisional Level Competitions of Jammu division, which concluded here today.
The competitions were organized by the District Youth and Sports Poonch.
DySP DAR, Mohan Sharma was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony.
Prominent among others included Mohd Tariq, Narjeet Singh, Romesh Kumar, Damanpreet and Gurvinder Singh.
The matches were officiated by Ravneet, Gurdev Singh, Mukesh, Sukhbir, Rajinder and Matinder Pal Singh.
According to the organizers, the main objective of the competition was to select the teams of Jammu division for their further participation in State Level competitions.
In the under 14 years and 17 years age group the Jammu district team defeated poonch district teams to claim both the tittles ,while in the under 19 years age group Poonch district defeated Jammu district in a thrilling contest.
Later on, the trophies and certificate were distributed among all the participants by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
