JAMMU, Feb 22: J&K Branch of NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, organized a seminar on Union Budget- 2018 and GST on contractors with emphasis on tax planning.
CA, Girish Ahuja was guest speaker on the topic with regard to detailed discussion on Union Budget 2018; CA, Nitin Kanwar was main speaker on critical analysis of Union Budget 2018 whereas, CA, Suresh K Malhotra was the guest speaker on the topic of GST on contractors with emphasis on tax planning.
The first technical session was presented by CA, Girish Ahuja, who gave a detailed presentation on the Union Budget 2018. He also replied to the queries raised by the members on related issues and highlighted the positive aspects of the Union Budget 2018.
During the second Technical Session, CA Nitin Kanwar addressed the members giving a critical analysis on Union Budget- 2018.
In the third and final technical session, CA Suresh K Malhotra addressed the members and gave them the detailed information about the GST on contractors with emphasis on tax planning. The queries of members were addressed by the guest speakers.
Earlier, CA Anish Abrol, secretary of the Branch delivered the inaugural address and introduced the guests.
CA, Sudhir Arora, Chairman of the branch welcomed the guests and the members while, CA, Ajay K Gupta, Vice-Chairman of the branch presented the vote of thanks.
Executive members of the branch CA, Ashwani Khajuria and CA Shalay Razdan were also present on the occasion.
