Jammu boy tops prestigious AoR Exam

JAMMU, Feb 9: Advocate Sahil Tagotra, son of the soil, has made Jammuites proud by cracking prestigious Advocates-on-Record (AoR) Examination by Supreme Court of India with 1st rank.
The result of the examination, which was conducted in June 2016, was declared by the Supreme Court of India today.
Son of Suman Tagotra and SD Tagotra, Advocate Sahil basically belongs to Channi Himmat in Jammu and presently residing at Mayur Vihar in Delhi with his wife, Sakshi Gupta. He completed his schooling from BSF School, Paloura, Jammu with distinction and LLB from Pune University in 2008 with top ranking in his college.
After doing Masters in Law from Kings’ College, London, Sahil worked as a Law Researcher with an MP of British Parliament for a period of six months. Thereafter, he worked for about five years with Gourab Banerji, a senior Advocate of Supreme Court and former Additional Solicitor General. For the period of 2012-14, Advocate Sahil also remained part of Government of India Panel-A judges.
