JAMMU, Aug 8: Deepak Gupta, a law student from the Law School, University of Jammu and an active student leader sparkled in the 9th Youth Minister’s Meeting held at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort in Uganda.
The representatives from 52 Commonwealth Country’s Youth Ministers and Youth Parliamentarians participated in the Meeting.
This was for the first time that Indian Government sent an official Indian Youth Delegation for attending the Meeting.
Official Indian delegation was led by Secretary to the Youth Ministry, A K Dubey along with Deepak Gupta from Jammu and Kashmir.
Discussing his experience in the Commonwealth Meet, Deepak said that President of Uganda mentioned Indian family culture as the best factor contributing towards the economic growth, adding that the Youth Policy of the Country is very effective and paved the way for various new opportunities like Skill India, Start Up India, etc which promotes self employment.
